Current Opportunities

Volunteering
Whether you're looking for class credit or just want to help your community, we have regularly scheduled and special opportunities for volunteering. Volunteer tasks can include watering, weeding, or harvesting at our gardens; helping at special events; preparing foods for our Shares bags; helping with our Kids Out to Lunch program; taking photos and videos; and more!

Americorps
Feeding Laramie Valley is an accredited national service site for Americorps VISTA and Americorps Seniors. Both programs feature short-term and long-term service options and offer a living stipend for service. Americorps VISTA members assist with capacity-building in our programs, most often the SHARES program, and Americorps Seniors members participate in the Foster Grandparents program.

Donate Food
Feeding Laramie Valley happily accepts donations of food items throughout the year. We are especially interested in fresh vegetables and fruits, which are distributed through out Shares program! We accept purchased food items or invite gardeners to donate their home-grown produce through the Grow a Row program!
